Where Counties meet - Exhibition at Patchings Art Centre

 

 On Saturday 6th October "Where Counties Meet" an exhibition celebrating Ashley's friendship with L.S.Lowry will commence at Patchings Art Centre, Calverton, Nottingham. Ashley has provided a number of original paintings and Limited editions to be hung alongside lithographs and signed prints by L.S.Lowry. In 1968 a driver brought L.S.Lowry to Ashley's Gallery which was then in Barnsley , where upon he purchased a painting and on turning the painting over found the title to be " Where Counties Meet". As a tribute to this friendship Ashley has chosen the same title to explain the exhibition. Mr Lowry as he was known to Ashley was a great friend and mentor.

There will be a Meet the Artist session on the 16th October 2.30pm with tickets available from Patchings. 

The exhibition will close on the 20th November
